Time Synch in AD

I have a Windows 2000 AD in mixed mode. Currently my PDC Emulator/FSMO Roles
holder machine named (MACHINE1) is set to sync it's time to time.windows.com,
and I've removed all time sources out of every dc. When I run a NET TIME
this is what I get.

C:\Documents and Settings\USER>net time
Current time at \\MACHINE10 is 12/11/2004 3:39 PM

Local time (GMT+08:00) at \\MACHINE10 is 12/12/2004 7:39 AM

The command completed successfully.

Now, Machine10 is not my PDC Emulator or FSMO Role holder. This makes no
sense to me since this is a DC in another location with no roles other then
being a DC. How can i get it pointed correctly back to the correct machine
(MACHINE1) and get AD to all be in the correct time synch?

The difference in time looks as though it is because of a time-zone
difference, not time skew (since the minutes are the same, but the hour
value is different).

It is possible that the client you are running NET TIME from is bound to
machine10 (assuming it is a domain controller). If you run the NET TIME
command from Machine10 would probably result in your discovering it is
recieving time from Machine1.

Check the time *zone* settings.

When you run 'net time' without any parameters on a random machine in the
domain it will display the time on the computer that comes alphabetically
first in your list of servers.

How do I check the time zones? I don't see it anywhere. Time sync is off in
the entire domain so that's what I'm trying to fix.

'w32tm /tz' in a Command Prompt will show the time zone setting.
