Hi All,

I backup up my system 1 week ago and rebuilt the machine.
I used Nero drag and drop and backup all the files onto a
DVD.
The problem I now have is that the files are all UPPER
case and only 8 letters for each folder and file. Is
there any quick way of getting these backups back to
their original state.

If burnt to dvd I'd have thought not - probably as a result of not
configuring/settings of Nero, its used the old dos file name format.

It's related to the disk format used either ISO9660, Joliet or
UDF. Once written without LongFilename support I don't
think there is a way to recover the full length names.
