TIFF (Uncompressed) decompressor

In my word document I've a couple of pictures but instead of showing the
pictures I get the error "TIFF (Uncompressed) decompressor nneded to see this
picture". The file was made using MS Office on a Mac. I've searched for a
TIFF decompressor but with no success - does someone have a fix?

Which version of PC Word?
Which version of Mac Word?
Source of images
How received (email attachment, CD, floppy, network, etc.)

If emailed to you, it may only be necessary to have the attachment sent
again making sure the sender uses the equivalent setting for Windows Friendly
Attachments (varies depending on email client software).
