How to download a TIFF (uncompressed) decompressor?

When I'm trying to view certain persentations (made on macs) with ppt 2003,
some pictures cannot be opened and a message appears instead: "QuickTime and
a TIFF (uncompressed) decompressor are needed to see this pictures". I have
quicktime instaled on my computer. What do I need to do in order to see these
pictures? Thanks

What you need, unfortunately, is for the original creators to use Insert >
Picture > From File instead of copy and paste to get their pictures in the
presentation. Copy and paste is usual the cause of this.

Have a look here:

QuickTime and a TIFF (or JPEG) decompressor are needed to see this picture

In a nutshell, whoever created the presentation on the Mac will also have to fix
this problem on the Mac.
