photos in a word doc table

i created a word table with photos on a mac- when trying to open on a pc the
table opens but not the photo- a message like -quicktime & tiff ?
decompressor- reqd. - please assist as i have tried almost everything to get
this to open but hhave failed

Hello-

How did you get the file to the PC... Email, by any chance?

If the doc was emailed from a Mac, that may have caused the problem. Not all
Mac email client software is capable of sending 'Windows Friendly'
attachments, and even some of those that are need to be told to do so
through a compatibility setting. Images are usually what suffer the most.

If this isn't the case, please supply more info including software versions
and how the file was transported from Mac to PC.

i saved the doc onto a usb and saved to my pc

Its best not to work directly to/from removable media.

If you saved the file on your Mac, copy it (using the Finder) to the USB
Drive. Then copy the file to the HD of your PC using Window Explorer. Open
the copy in Word and see if that makes a difference.

If there is still a problem, post back with your results, including OS and
software versions used on each system.
