Be very very careful. TIF is a graphic type which Windows would
normally open, so I strongly suspect these are not tif at all, but
viruses. Save them; get up to date (as of today) definitions for your
Anti Virus program and use it to check them. If you do not have an AV
program, get one *now* - the free AVG 6 from www.griosoft.com will serve
fine

Well, you're probably not receiving several attachments IN a tif file.
I'll guess that you meant "I've received several attachments AS tif
files."

If the sender prepared the tif graphic correctly, you should be able
to simply double click it and Windows Picture and Fax Viewer will
automatically display it.

If that doesn't work either the sender did not prepare the file
correctly OR another possibility (which I've not tried) is that a tif
can have layers and I'm not sure if WinXP's native view can open
those.
