Tick box to "always do the selected action"

Previously when I plugged in my PSP by USB I got a dialog showing various
actions I could take (Open to view files, open with Media Player, etc) and
there was a tick box to "Always perform the selected action".

Now, for some reason, that tick box doesn't appear - Windows always shows
the dialog when i plug the PSP in.

Any way to get it back?

My mate has a PSP and Windows XP SP2 as well, and he gets the tick box.

Install the psp and then navigate:

R. click mycomputer icon > explore > r. click the psp icon >
auto play tab and uncheck to perform this action every time
