Quagga R.T.M.

I download music on winmx to "my music" folder.

Today 2 files have appeared.

One is called "desktop note pad" and opens with notepad. It just has numbers
in it.

The other is called "thumbs" and it wont open with anything.

Both say they were created in march this year. But they have only appeared
in this folder today.

If I click delete on them it says that "This is a system file. Deleting it
may cause your system to operate incorrectly"

What are they?

Thumbs.db (Thumbnail cache/database) and Desktop.ini are hidden files. Thumbs.db is a database file containing the small images displayed when you view a folder in "thumbnail" view. Desktop.ini is a text file which contains the folder customizations. The special icon seen for My Music folder, the settings are stored in Desktop.ini file in that folder. Thumbs.db will be present in a folder with image files and thumbnail view enabled (atleast once) and this file can be deleted.
