Thumbnails in My Pictures

Each time I open a folder that contains pictures I the thumbnails are very
small, when I rt click and refresh thumbnails it become ok, I must do that
each time I open a picture folder. Please HELP

See if deleting the Thumbs.db in that folder helps.

How do I alter the default size and quality of thumbnail images?:

I'm not sure what fix it but it is ok now. I've done a disk defr aswell.

Ok I got it now. Right click any picture, Properties, Photoshop Images tab,
if you run photoshop on your comp, uncheck generate thumbnails, apply, ok,
and that 's it. But thank any way for the other advise it is all interresting.
