Three web pages won't load and I'm sad.

Thanks for reading this. I've got problems accessing three specific
pages: blackboard.health.ufl.edu, webmail.ufl.edu, and my work e-mail
site, fbcocala.org/exchange. I've cleared the caches (even in safe
mode), I'm clean as far as viruses and spyware (using multiple
programs), I had the vando virus but it is now clean, I've flushed my
DNS, I've renamed my hosts.

So now I'm stuck. Is there anyone who could possibly offer help. To
them I would be eternally grateful!

Thanks so much!

With Internet Explorer open, I suggets you investigate:
Tools > Internet Options... > Pivacy (tab) > Sites...(button)
See if any of the URL's you mention are in the list of
Managed Web sites: as "Always Block" under the Settings column
If so, you need to remove them from that list.

I have no third-party firewalls installed. I also tried to access the
URL's with Safe Mode With Networking, and nothing happened. Any other
ideas?

Thanks again for all of your help!

What exactly happens when you try to go to those URL's?
Is it ye olde "Page Cannot Be Displayed"?
And for sure you renamed C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts?
What is listed in your System Configuration Utilty (Start > Run> msconfig)
Services tab after you check the "Hide all Microsoft Services" check box?
What is listed in the Startup tab?
Did you run your Anti Virus and Anti Spyware scans from Safe Mode?

Thanks for reading this. I've got problems accessing three specific

Start from first principles. Does your DNS know about these lookups
and does it find them in a timely fashion? E.g. switch to a cmd window
and use nslookup to test that.

FWIW I see that the first three are all aliases.
So check also to see if you can use them any better.

<examples>

E:\>nslookup blackboard.health.ufl.edu

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: malia.itc.health.ufl.edu
Address: 159.178.78.196
Aliases: blackboard.health.ufl.edu

E:\>nslookup webmail.ufl.edu

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: sp-ssl3.nerdc.ufl.edu
Address: 128.227.74.117
Aliases: webmail.ufl.edu

E:\>nslookup fbcocala.org

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: fbcocala.org
Address: 216.255.255.125

</examples>

BTW I agree with your first responder's latest tack of trying to get you
to elaborate on your symptoms. For example, with the last one you
should apparently be seeing a request to logon over a blank page
and an error message "Error: Access is Denied." if you cancel it.
