three hard drives again?

Hi,
Many thanks for earlier answers. Most helpful.<p> If I
only want to collect some data from the third hard drive
(as opposed to install it permanently) could I do this via
an external link cable (eg IDE to USB?)?<p>

Paul,
If you just want to pull some data off it, then set it as slave, swap it
with your current primary slave, copy data, swap back, done.
