I agree with Modem Telephony or maybe just the name they use in the industry

I just don't like the word 'telephony' even if thats what its about. I
don't want to make it off putting for the average Jo who just might
find that if he lingers enough that there is more he can do with his
modem.
I think keeping the word modem in there is a good idea as it could
become a group inundated with requests for help finding the right
landline phone for their local caller ID. (Thats actually a big
problem in the UK as shops do not actually know half the time.)
What I do like is "Smart Modems" or maybe even better and catchy at
that: "Voice Mode"??
I hate having to pick and choose
