This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down

ECX=00af9194 one file won't open. It is used daily. How can I
troubleshoot this ? Thank you

The site was very educational but did not address the specific need.
EXCEL caused an invalid page fault in module EXCEL.EXE at
0167:300f67ec.

Can you see the file using the Excel viewer, available from MS?

Alternately, try opening the file in OpenOffice.org's Calc program. This
is a big download but the program is free.
