Use the news server msnews.microsoft.com.

Q

Maybe i didn't make myself clear here ... I am able to
post with OE6 but not able to view my posts ... In fact
when i try to view the newgroups posts the day or time
zone is behind one day example ( 10/10/2004 ) this is
while i am using OE6 to view ... Why doesn't it show the
present day or the right time zone ??? My time is correct
on my computer

Try syncronizing with the Windows Time Zone, so that when connect to the
Internet, you will be ok.

Double click the clock in the System Tray, click on Internet Time Zone
(Tab), check "Automatically syncronize with and Internet time server, click
the "Update Now" button.

Also Open Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services > scroll down to
"Windows Time", make sure that its started.

Okay this is starting to really p___s me off here ... I
have the correct time zone and i even try as you
suggested from the internet time zone , no change at
all ... When i syncronize the time is incorrect , its
showning further behind with some newsgroup ... I cannot
get this damn thing to show the correct time or even come
close to the correct time , i am even getting the months
of Sept , Aug and so on ... I read this is suppose to be
the better way to join a newsgroup , Yeah i can really
see that now ... Why doesn't the damn server syncronize
the correct time and day ???
