Have posted this a few times now with no replies or
suggestions, so I am trying again in desperation and
hoping someone out there can help.
Administrator has no problems using any programme. However
any other uses on the computer trying to access any
software (games etc) loaded into the machine, get the
following pop up on screen.
Director Player 5.0
*Unable to copy the driver file C:\WINDOWS\dirdib.drv to
your Windows directory. Your disc may be full.*
Disc not full by some score, users are shown as having
unlimited access to disc storage.
Users can access original software that came with computer
I.E. Freecell, Hearts.
Any help or suggestions would be more than welcome

This would probably be fixed by allowing all users write access as well
as read to the windows folder. Not that the program should be trying to
copy its files into that folder when run, and general write access there
is *not* the normal setting. However if you want to take the risk, and
try, in a window showing the Windows folder, right click on it,
Properties - Security. There highlight Users and check 'Write' in the
Allow column, click Apply.

It may be sufficient to do this just while the program gets installed,
and then put things back to normal
..
