Computer Stops Responding (Hangs) When You Try to Bring
It out of Standby or out of Hibernation by Using a USB
Device. I have Logitech mouse and keyboard. I don't have
the Logitech software for the keyboard but I have the
Mouseware for the mouse. I am running XP SP1. Any
help? Thanks!

Go to Start > Run and type: devmgmt.msc , and hit enter.

While in Device Manager, right-click on your mouse and
select Properties. Click on the Power Management tab and
check "Allow this device to bring the computer out of standby".

You can do the same for your keyboard and other devices.

I already did that but it did not solve the problem.
However, the solution I found is hitting a button on the
keyboard once and wait for about 15 seconds to wake the
system up. Then move the mouse to be able to use the
mouse. So, waiting for wake up is the only option for
me. I had beta SP2 before new XP installation on my new
hard drive and SP2 solved the problem before but I don't
want to install the SP2 on my new installation until it
is officially out. Thanks for the reply.
