i have this strange symbol that comes up when i try to use mymsn homepage. it looks like this ( l> ) without the ( ) though. i emailed msn and they said they have no idea whatsoever. refreshing the browser gets rid of it but msn said several other people have reported this. considering how many people use the internet, that's not very much. any info on this ? i was told it has to do with xp maybe but i don't know. hats off to anyone who can answer this for me. thanks in advance.

If this appears when scrolling with the wheel, inadvertently pushing the
wheel invokes the wheel button which starts the autoscroll function. A
symbol with two of these symbols pointed up and down appear. Moving the
mouse up or down now scrolls the screen up or down. Clicking down on
the mouse wheel to invoke the button again clears the symbol.
