This could indicate a lack of memory on your system - any answers?

I have a gmail account, I have setup my imap as indicated by gmail. When I
try to sync my mail, I get as far as the "secure" step, then I get the
message above. I have checked all settings and do not know why there is a
problem. I originally used the pop server settings, woke up this morning to
find that my mail was not importing to my Vista Windows Mail account, so I
decided to go with IMAP, now I am wondering if I should go back to pop3.

I don't know what you mean by the "secure step".

Did you setup the IMAP account using these instructions? :

When you switched from POP to IMAP, did you delete the POP
account, and then create the IMAP account from scratch?

thanks for the help.i'm trying to send resume to craigslist , but i get a
message that says network not available. i'll follow the instruction as you
