things not working

On my PC, process execution and script blocking, items in
real time protection, do not work and cannot be activated
by clicking on the enable key. This is a bug in the beta
version and not caused by my PC, I'm sure. I hope
Microsoft fixes this in the next version.

Give this a try:
Try installing a service pack for the VB6 runtime. One other user has
reported this fixed this issue for him, and I'd love to have further
confirmation:
