Hi,

I bought this screwy Access Control Software and loaded it
on my PC. The software was supposed to limit the time my
kids were on the web. It just screwed up my computer
instead. That softwate had its own log-off button and made
the fast switching and log-foff buttons on the start menu
go away. I have removed this junk now, but I cannot get
the buttons back. Any thouthts?

Go to Start\Run and type in GPEDIT. Look around in the subfolders there and
you will see things like remove log-off from start menu etc..

If this is a Xp Home box, your registry has been changed in such a way that
many security settings are enabled.
