there is only once explaination... vista is not a major release!

John Jay Smith

just like Me was an intermediate release so they could work on xp....

vista must be a trash OS with Me quality that they want to get out to grab
the bucks,
then after a year release a new OS that will be what vista should have
been...

This is the only logical explanation seeing the quality of vista.

Perhaps this was not their original intention.. but seeing the lack of time
(wow the really blew it on time management this time.. they had 5 whole
years after xp!) they decided to do what I said above. Of course MS will
NEVER
admit this... its a big failure on their part.

sorry MS blind followers.. its the rock solid truth...Vista needs redesign,
basic changes... and its too late for that.

They are going to unleash it as it is to the world! OH MY GOD!!! head for
cover.. a bombshell is gonna explode of gigantic proportions!!!

I am wondering what major changes you feel it needs? As for quality again
not many specifics there. My experience with Vista thus far has been great.

Here we go again.

1.) How can you see the quality of the final release of Vista. Last I
checked it wasn't gold yet.
2.) What needs redesign and why? You keep blathering on and on about this,
but as of yet, have only opened your mouth to complain instead of providing
ANYTHING remotely concrete on WHY.

People were saying the same exact thing about the failure of Windows 95,
Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Server 2003, yet all of them have sold
better than the previous versions of Windows, and currently both XP and 2003
are the most popular OS's install wise in their respective categories.

Vista is coming John, no matter if you like it or not.

Do us all a favour, go use Linux or MacOS X and complain on their support
newsgroups.

1) That's what I was saying to myself in beta one and 2.... but this is RC2
now.. its not alpha (YES IT IS), nor beta.
2) I could write a small booklet on why the design is bad. What I say comes
from deep understanding
not from some strange need to insult vista.

I was not saying anything bad about any previous versions of windows (except
Me that is an acknowledged fiasco).
In fact I am a supporter of MS... Im not a linux fanatic or a macOSX geek.
Many times I have tried to explain to these fanatics why windows was better
taking into account all parameters.
I love windows!

But vista is another story.. its the same quality of Me, in the context that
they are doing things that they should not.

If you want to be somewhere where you hear only people agreeing with you
then your place is not in newsgroups.

Instead of whining, why don't you try to think why the heck am I saying all
these things about vista...

And that perhaps I am right!!!

1.) As I said this is still UNRELEASED software, its NOT gold. Do you have a
gold copy of Vista? I don't.
2.) You may have all this information on why the "design is bad", but yet
you don't post any of it. Not one peep. All this newsgroup hears is about
your "theories" on Vista, that quite frankly are full of crap. Vista DOES
run on a system with an 800 Mhz processor, 512 MB of ram and a dated video
card. You don't have to like that fact, nor do you have to like the fact
that it doesn't run Aero Glass, but hey, its the same thing Apple does if
you want to have all the latest and greatest bells and whistles in OS X.

Vista is FAR superior to Me and to XP thus far.

I don't need anyone to agree with me in the newsgroups, thats not what I am
here for, I am here to provide help for people that WANT to run Vista.

Its clear you don't want to, and want to be the newsgroup whiner and
complainer. We really don't need that here, not at all. We need people
willing to HELP others.

Again, I'm still waiting to hear from your "small booklet".
