there is no read only recommended box in security to tick

i am trying to down load a file unable with comment file does not begin with
%PDF
I went into tools options security then 'read only recommended' there is no
such button to press - I am at a loss as I have downloaded this file before,.

It sounds as though your problem is other than what can be assisted in the
Microsoft Access database newsgroup. This newsgroup is devoted to Microsoft
Access databases. You are much more likely to find an answer in a newsgroup
devoted to your subject.
