I am wanting to put WinXP Pro on a WinXP Home computer. There are a
couple themes I would like to keep. Is there any way to save or backup
just the themes and reinstall them after Pro is installed?

Thanks

Why are you upgrading to Pro?

If they are third-party themes, back up the installers. Otherwise, just
do an upgrade to Pro. This should keep all your settings and programs
intact. Of course, it is always advised to back up your data before
doing this although normally the upgrade goes smoothly.

Perhaps you think that you can not do an upgrade from Home to Professional,
but that's not correct. That is the asiest and most likely successful of all
possibl eupgrades, because so little has to be changed.

But regardless of the likelihood of success, it's *always" possible for
something to go wrong, so it's certainly prudent to be sure you have a
backup of anything you can't afford to lose before beginning.
