If you go to Windows Vista Solution Center you can find another set of
Backgrounds - some nice shots of New Zealand - and you can use your Sample
Pictures, as well as your own, as Wallpaper. There are no Themes yet for
Vista. I tried some that third parties said were Vista compatible but didn't
find them useable and they were difficult to uninstall. There don't seem to
be any Visual Styles yet either (Style XP won't work). Oh, and Webshots
offers some good Wallpapers.

If someone else has found any, I hope they'll let us know.

There is Window Blinds, which you can purchase for $19.99. You can check out
the
website at http://www.stardock.com/products/windowblinds/

I don't know if Cycomiko was referring to Window Blinds, but they say they
are Vista Compatible. I used the program while I
was still on XP in order to get a Vista "Look" without installing Vista.
Many are using it
for that purpose it seems.

It did take some tweeking - eg, there are ways to exclude programs from your
chosen theme - and
sometimes that is necessary to get a program unstuck.

The good news is that by spending that small amount of money, you are
entitled to
a virtually unlimited amount of downloads of Skins from www.wincustomize.com
..
And there are many to choose from and download.

I hope this helps,...Frank

I was actually referring to windows ultimate extras. some goodies that
only people who have windows ultimate edition can download ands use.
