Theme Problem

On the Page Options, Formatting tab, the areas are not accessible. I do not
have a theme applied, but did check and it is set to No Theme as the default.
I originally set the site up in an older version of FP where you could tell
it to get the properties from another page. Could that be the problem? Any
help appreciated.
Windows 2000-FrontPage 2003 - Thanks. Ann

That feature is no longer available.

Thank you for your quick response Thomas. I do realize that feature is no
longer available, but I mentioned in case that was why I can't edit the page
background, link colors, etc. When I go to Format/Theme it shows "Current
theme: No theme (Web site default); however, when I click Page
Properties/Formatting tab, I can't access any of the color fields. I have
also seclected all pages in my site and clicked "No Theme" and then
published. Still can't access. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your quick reply Thomas. I do realize that feature is no longer
available and I mentioned since that might be the cause of my problem. My
site is set to No Theme as a default. Any idea why I can't make changes in
the the Page Properties/Formatting/Color section? Thanks.

Try applying a theme, and then removing the theme.

That didn't work. When I applied the theme to one page and checked Page
Properties/Formatting it said, "Note: Page has theme applied. Some settings
not applicable." It doen't say that when I have set to default of No Theme.

Are you using a Dynamic Web Template? If so, the Page Formatting
properties will only be available on the DWT itself, since the <body>
tag is not editable in a page where the DWT is attached (Page
Properties writes to the <body> tag).

You are not using a DWT. If you were using a DWTY, the page would
have
<!-- #BeginTemplate "path/name.dwt" -->
at the beginning of code view.

In the <body> tag, in Code view, delete stylesrc="hdr-ftr.htm",
then all the page property options become available.

FYI, the Home page has two <title> tags - only one is allowed.
The Home page has an incorrect Keywords meta tag, it should be
<meta name="keywords", not <meta http-equiv="keywords"

Thanks Ron...that did it. Is there any quick way to remove the stylesrc=
from all the pages?
