The "transfer files and settings" guide

Hi!

I recently bought a new HD for my computer and reinstalled
windows Xp on the new faster disc. Before I reinstalled I
used the guide to backup my files and setting. As the
progressbar ran the text told me that it compressed all
the files from all the different user accounts. Now that I
tried to unpack this thing only the files from my own
account got out and everything the rest of my family has
saved before is lost. How could this happen? How do I get
the rest of the files out of that .dat-file??

Seeing that you bough a new hard drive, I would suggest just putting the
old hard drive in as a slave and copying the files from it instead of
using the 'Hit or miss' transger files and settings wizard.
