The system cannot log you...

Hi,
Sometime when I try to log on into windows 2000 domain I have this message

The system cannot log you on to this domain because the system's computer
account in its primary domain is missing or the password on that account is
in correct.

1. I am sure that I type the password correctly
2. If this happen I should shut the computer down for a while than reconnect
to the domain.
3. If I restart the computer I almost get this error everytime.
4. I use windows 2k Professional with SP3.

Regards,
Gunawan

Hello,

you may have to work with the network admininstrator to resolve this
problem. Check that your computer account is created and valid.

You may need to join a workgroup, then rejoin the domain to resolve
this.

I have to explain it again that this issue is not always happen, but
almost every time. For example 8 times from 10 times attempt to connect
to the domain.

Hello,

Have you tried disjoining from the domain, deleting the computer
account from AD, then joining the domain?

Check the event log on server and client for any error messages.

When you can't log into the domain, is the time synchronized between
your workstation and the server?
