We are experiencing the problems specified in KB article
824302. I would like to know how to get the hot fix
mentioned in the article. The article states to contact
Microsoft support to get the hot fix but I'm not going to
pay for support on this issue, as is requested in the
agreement for online support, since our company already
holds an EA, MSDN and Technet licenses. If there is a
download for this hot fix could someone please point me to
it's link. I will continue searching myself.

Thanks,
Lisa

You can contact Microsoft. There's no charge for obtaining hotfixes.

However, if the hotfix doesn't resolve your issue and you require subsequent
troubleshooting assistance, you will need to open another support incident.
Depending on your support contract/subscription you may have support
incidents in your account (you've mentioned you have EA, MSDN and Technet).
