Hello. I am trying to add a windows xp machine to my 2003 domain and
I get the error above. I have installed the newest NIC driver. Also
I am able to ping resources on the domain but whenever I try to whack
into them (because usually it will bring up a box asking for your
credentials) it errors out.

I am able to ping them using their netbios name or IP address. I have
also deleted the old computer name in Active Directory and created a
new account with a different name and still got the same error. Any
help would be appreciated. Thank you.

When you add Windows XP / Vista to a domain, you have to setup name resolution
consistently.
