the sound won't work

i have reinstalled microsoft xp and the sound card
program hasnt been installed...
and i don't know where my sound card was made
how do i find this out?
and what do i have to do to install the sound card?
please tell me
 
Hi

You should have been supplied with a CD for your sound card - to reinstall drivers if need be. If your sound was installed with a new PC, have a look through the CDs that your PC supplier gave you. If was a 'standalone' sound card, you should have been supplied with CD as well - to install the drivers.
