The server responded: 'quota exceeded'???

I am trying to move an email from my inbox to a sub folder and the message
says

cannot move the items. The server responded:'quota exceeded'

any ideas?
 
You don't provide enough details for anyone to start. Please advise your
version of Outlook and type of mail account at the very least.
