Need help on a little problem. Everytime i open my
recycle bin it is empty of any files, The files are there
somewhere. When i use disk cleanup it shows there are
files to be deleted, but i can't view them. Now i am
getting a message "The Recycle Bin on C:\ is corrupted"
everytime i try using the disk cleanup. How do i go about
fixing this ? Do i after re-install xp over the top of
the exsisting one or is there a easy answer?
Thanks in advance.

It's a common problem. There's probably some file corruption. The usual
quick fix is: Delete any file (just to make sure there's something in the
bin).

Then, with the Recycle Bin CLOSED, right click the Recycle Bin desktop icon,
select: Empty Recycle Bin, and when the Confirm File Delete dialog box
comes up, click the OK button. Then reboot your system. After doing
the above, any deleted files should now list correctly in the Recycle
Bin.

Doing the above should fix the problem. But, you will lose any files that
were PREVIOUSLY in the Recycle Bin.
