Hi,
I have a such problem with adding clip into my Powerpoint (2000)
presentation.
I insert a video clip and it works perfectly. As it is a company we use
a network
disc to storage data. While inserting a clip from a network disc, the
path to the file
is like x:/video clips/video_inserted.avi. I burn it to CD and show in
presentation on laptop.
While presenting the PPP on laptop which is not linked to a our
network, the clip is not displayed
as the path refers to a specific location, where the clip is actualy
located.
I have tricked it, by creating on disk "c" a folder like: "c:/folder
one". Then I copy all the clips to this folder and insert the clip into
presentation (path of new location). As most computers have disc C
(harddrive), after burning on CD I have to copy the catalog on new
harddrive and everything works -the path of the video file is correct.
The problem is that, it takes a lot of time and effort to show a video
clip in a presentation outside of our network. Do you happen to know
any other solutions? I hope there are simple ways, but I do not know
any.
thanks a lot!
