the page will not display

I recently have been getting "this page will not display" typically on
certain images, primarily advertising sites, on some websites. My daughter
is now getting this on many images on her my space account. It seem like
this problem started when I updated windows with service pack 2. My computer
maker, internet provider, and microsoft blame each other for the problem.
Any suggestions

I'd start with checking the MTU setting.
