The Outlook2003 Action "Resend this Message" is not available. Wh.

For some reason I am not seeing the "Resend this Message" option when I pull
down the Action option for an item in the sent messages folder. I have run a
repair but it still doesn't show as available in the menu. Any ideas?

Do you have full menus displayed? When you click the Actions menu from the
item that you opened from your Sent Items folder, do you see two little
arrows at the bottom of the menu? If so, move your mouse over them to expand
the full menu.

Yes indeed Patricia I did make certain that the full menu was
exposed...several different times just to make certain nothing was slipping
by. The problem seems to be what is configured for the Action option to
reveal. Do you know where that is configured to expose the "Resend this
Message" option?

There shouldn't be any configuration needed really. What t ype of mail
account do you have?

Have you tried resetting the menus? If you right click the menu bar and
choose Customize, you can reset it to it's default configuration.

Patricia,
Thanks for your continuing help. Silly me. Upon step by step analysis of the
process the problem ended up being that you cannot expect this option to
expose itself unless you have the email in question open. It does not work
from a list that you have highlighted an email in and expect to perform the
resend action on.
Thanks again for your help and I look forward to taking a look at some of
the books you have published.
