Something like that I sometimes suspect a bad memory chip. What I do is open
up the case and see if there's more than 1 meory chip installed. If they do
not need to be installed in pairs (some do) you can remove one and see if
the problem goes away. If the problem is still there swap it out for the
other memory chip. If the problem is still there then it's possible both
chips are bad.

You will want to protect/ground yourself before touching things so you don't
ruin the with static.

Since the problem only occurs when playing that rather old game (which is
known to be buggy), the cause is probably not hardware. Instead, check on
the game's website for tech support and/or user forums.

Unfortunatley, some other problems recentley occured. Computer goes down
and restarts itself. After that some other apps won't work properly.

I would re-test using MemTest 86+. As there is no stand-alone "DOS"
within XP, you are still loading XP.

Then you have hardware failure. It could be the RAM (which I would re-test
using Memtest86+), but other components could be involved.

Testing hardware failures often involves swapping out suspected parts with
known-good parts. If you can't do the testing yourself and/or are
uncomfortable opening your computer, take the machine to a professional
computer repair shop (not your local equivalent of
BigComputerStore/GeekSquad). If possible, have all your data backed up
before you take the machine into a shop.

I'm only bad in english, since I'm writing this without help of
spellchecker. I'm using dos Docmemory test because I have one partition
where I can run old MS-DOS 6.22. I'll try your suggestions and come back
with results. Because I have a lot of other work beside repairing my
oldiest but goldiest computer, this may last.
Be well.

It was faulty memory chip closest to the processor. This memory chip was
bought in HG Spot in Zagreb and was the newest one. That store is known
for selling faulty electronic components. Now system works fine and I'm
again able to fly on IL-2 Sturmovik.
