Hello Everyone,

I have TS running on a 2003 Server (fresh install). I have simply added a
user LC1 and added it to the "Remote Desktop Users" group. I have not made
any changes on the Default Group Policy and yet each and every time I try and
log on, I get the following message "the local policy of this system does not
permit you to logon interactively". What am I missing//

Thanks in advance,

Check out the following settings:

1) Under 'Local Security Settings' > 'Local Policies' > 'User Rights
Assignements' ... check the following entries:
Allow logon locally
Allow logon trhough Terminal Services
Deny logon Locallu
Deny logon trhough Terminal Services

-Make sure these settings contain the proper groups. And don't forget, if
you have a W2K3 domain, a group policy will override these settings, so
check the GP also.
