Does anyone know how to kill the IE search bar for good? I
can un-check it but each time I start IE it's back. Funny
but if I un-check anything else it stays that way no
matter how many times I open the program. I hate Microsoft
choosing what I will have on my browser.

.
try add/remove programs,IE searchbar,delete
it. try another browser,like
Avant browser,it's free from
www.download.com
put avant in the search and download it,It's got every
option that 6.0 has and more!If you don't like it
add/remove will take it out.It comes with a popup
blocker,flah animation disabler,much more,looks like
IE,only better, and when you check something it stays
checked!

Lavasoft's Ad-aware now targets this pest.
http://www.lavasoftsupport.com/index.php?showtopic=22228
Download and run Ad-aware: http://www.lavasoftusa.com
Install and run the update to obtain the latest reference files, perform
a scan to remove the "iSearch" pest.

If no joy, run "HijackThis" FAQ and download:
