The General Tab disappeared from the Internet Options box.
IE6, Win 98.

I (think I've) installed all the updates and patches,
etc., but it didn't fix the problem.

Thanks for any help!!!!

Note: restoring the missing tab(s) without scanning for parasites
will not remove the culprit that now exists on your system.

Very interesting. Running IE6/Win98.SE, noticed my Security and Advanced
tabs missing from Internet Options.

Am thinking of using mvps.org file: RepairTabs.reg to, hopefully, correct
the registry problem.

Any commnets on this idea?

Thanks for any help.

Lawrence

That should correct the symptoms, but not the cause. See
