OK, when a mail is delivered into my inbox (outlook 2000)
it gives me a nice name rather than the e-mail address of
the sender.

The only way i can tell the e-mail address is by clicking
on the properties of the mail and looking at the internet
header information pane..there i can see the X-SENDER:
option which gives me the e-mail address....

my question, can i add this x-sender as a field onto my
current view in outlook?

thanks in advance

Mark

If you right-click on the sender's display name and go to properties, it
should show you the SMTP address. I don't think there's any way to pull that
info out into a view field.....the sender display info is controlled by the
sender.

Lanwench,
Please forward this to Outlook development. I too have been wanting this for
YEARS, along with many, many others who have posted. If you open the message
in it's own window, HURRAY! There it is. But NOT on the preview pane info
bar where we need it (so we don't have to open the message). I offered to
pay, and pay handsomely, for an add-on to handle this. I've requested from
both Slipstick and Sperry.

Please.

Hi,

if you are running Outlook against Exchange server, take a look at

If you do not use Exchange, please e-mail me directly:
