The Data is Invalid? graphic driver install

I;ve installed a new graphics card, which the hardware
wizard finds, but after all the drivers are copied, the
final screen of the wizard reports that the "data is
invalid" - I'm pulling my hair out! anyone have a solution
to this???
 
Did you follow instructions with graphics card, often it says at hardware
wizard cancel, then install drivers as per instructions with card.
