Hi All,

After the machine is on for more than 15 minutes, when I go to the start
menu, "turn off computer", shutdown, the machine reboots. If I turn off
the computer before 15 minutes has elapsed it will shut off normally.

What would cause this? Is something overheating?

OS: XP PRO SP2, Intel 865perl mobo, Intel 3.0ghz processor

I have already been to Microsoft Knowledge Base articles---None of there
suggestions helped.

Thank you Rock

After trying all the sites you suggested and still not resolving the
problem, I got radical:

Since it did not happen until 15 minutes elapsed, I reasoned something
was overheating, I replaced the psu. Machine fixed.

Thanks Again,
Gary
