PLEASE help me, my screen freezes and the alarm sounds and I have to reboot
pressing reset or on/off button. I would like to know why this keeps
happening, how it starts, how much damage if any is being done by repeatedly
turning the computer off like this and what is the simple way to repair it.
This can happen when I am on and when I am off line. I have virus ware and a
firewall and I am up to date with updates but the corruption did start before
I was fully updated. Should I go to PC world?

What alarm are you talking about...? Some system boards sound alarm when the
cpu is overheating.

Your CPU fan might have stopped or you don't have enough circulation in your
box. Take the side off and look and see, might set your house fan to blow in
the open side. Your CPU fan might just need all the dust blown out.
