I would like to say thanks to this group, most of you helped me put
together a PC. It is a really nice one now that i have it all put
together, and it works better then i could of wanted, exepct for a few
places, everything runs great on the computer, but on World of
Warcraft, I get random crashes, my specs are:

Mobo-Fatal1ty AN9
Processor- AMD 5000+ x2 2.6ghz Windsor
Video Card- 7600GT 256mb XFX
PSU- Rosewill 600watt RD600N
HD- Maxtor 300gb 7200 RPM
Case- Sunbeam Transformer
Memory- Crucial 4gb (pair)

the motherboard was great, didnt have any problems with it, besides
the 2 onboard LAN ports didnt work, but a RMA to newegg fixed that
problem in a week, no worries, Processor, no real way to tell anything
about it now, becuase im still on Safe Fail Defualts lol, Video Card,
Havnt had any problems, but have maybe found that it may be causing my
crashes in World of Warcraft,(if anyone has anything that can help me
with that, would like) Power Supply works great, runs cool, fans arent
noisy, looks perty lol, Hard drive has loads of space, isnt very loud
either... my Case is great, good air flow, everthing idles at about
25oC. memory, most people were telling me to only get 2gb pair, but i
thought why waste the money? I would end up switching over to 4gb pair
any way, the mobo doesnt accept single pairs... so i went with that, i
would like to say thanks to everyone again and dealing with me:) lol,
and if anyone has any suggestions about my crashing problems that
would be nice also, i can usually play for about 3 hours if i get
lucky when i first start playing, then the crashes get closer
together... so thx, and i also have been seeing problems in Age of
Empires 3

Thanks every1
Zach

Methinks, in your case, I'd run Memtest86+ for a few hours; or
preferably ovrnight. Also keep a running eye on CPU, motherboard, and
disk-drive temperatures.

Ran memtest and everything 2 times, checked hard drive, CPU Mobo, case
temp everything stays low during play, nothing goes over 37oC besides
the CPU which has like a high of 50oC

Hmmm ... I *still* tend to suspect memory problems.
So, my next trial would be to pull one of the memory sticks and try it
for a day or so with that one ... Then do the same with the other one in
the same socket as the first one.

Then, if it fails with one stick and not the other, you have your
problem. If it only fails with *both* in there, then either you don't
have a matched set or you have motherboard problems (or, possibly
power-supply problems).

If it still fails with either stick, I'd try a new (and different make)
PSU anyway. About your cheapest Easter-Egg shot.
