When windows is restarted, I get a box that pops up
saying that windows can't open the following file,
TFTP3128. It doesn't appear to know what to open it with,
program wise, because it gives you the option to let
windows search the net for one or you can choose one
manually. it doesn't appear to hurt the running of
windows, but it is damn annoying. Thanks for anyt help.

Hi Barney,

Start/run msinfo32, expand the software environment, click on the startup
programs. Look for reference to that file and make note of where it is
loading from. This will indicate where you need to go in your system
(probably the registry) to finish fixing the remnants of the virus that
created the problem. Please post back with the startup location if you need
assistance in removing the reference.

Rick, thanks so much for your help. It now works perfect.
I think eventually I would have gotten there, but I let
it aggrevate me just a tad bit too much. Again thanks,
Barney
