tft against crt

hi group,
does a tft monitor show better graphics/details than a crt? many thanks regards to all from TBM...

Check the numbers on the latest and you will find that that is no longer
true for contrast. As for color accuracy, that's really more a matter or
calibration. CRTS have piss-poor color accuracy too until they have been
calibrated.
If you really want a flat panel display, wait for OLEDs:
