AGP 4x and DVI

I should like to swap my CRT monitor for TFT. My existing graphics adaptor
is Nvidia GeForce 256 32MB analog only AGP 4x. Is there any possible
problem? I should like to take advantage of DVI but all display adaptors
today seem to be AGP 8x. Does anyone know of any currently available using
AGP 4X and providing DVI out? TV out not an issue nor ultra high speeds for
gaming.

Any help gratefully received

Just because a card says "AGP 8X" doesn't mean you can't run it at whatever
level your system supports. 8X cards will do all the lower speeds as well.
Just get the card you like and it'll hum along nicely at 4X, or whatever
your system will support.

Ditto on Todd's & Kevin's msgs. I have AGP 4x, and I installed a PNY
GeForce FX 5900 without incident. In this card's case, it is best that you
have spare power connector and a emply PCI slot next to the AGP slot.

No, they will not. Check the voltage levels. Some boards go back one
level, some go back several.
Just get the card you like and it'll hum along nicely at 4X, or
whatever your system will support.
