text shows on screen but not when printed

I wish to have certain text show on screen in a MS Word doc, but do not want
it to show on the doc when printed. What are the instructions to do this?

Hello Ranger-

Try this:

Select the text you want to Hide.
Go to Format >Font
Select the Hidden check box.
To view Hidden Text on the screen, click Show/Hide ¶ on the Standard toolbar.
The Hiden Text does not show in Print Preview or print even if displayed
while printing.
