Text orientation

Wasn't it possible with older versions of Word to rotate or flip text so that it was upside down? I cannot find how to rotate text in a table or text box anymore. Shall I re-install Word XP?

It has never been possible to rotate text 180 degrees in Word, just 90
degrees right or left. But see

I guess I must have done that in WordPerfect or PowerPoint before. Maybe I'll try Publisher.

No, it has never been possible to flip text upside-down. But see

You can rotate text by using paste special, in the edit menu. Paste it as a
picture then rotate, and copy over.

In that case, however, you are not rotating (editable) text but a picture.
