Text not visible in OE

Hi,
Bruce H suggested a number of fixes for my problem of
not being able to see text in messages within OE. I
thought the regsvr32 repair had cured my problem as text
raappeared in all messages; however, upon reboot, no
text. I have deleted all temp files, ensured the Western
font, and defragged. Instead of reinstalling OE I am
considering a "restore." Any thoughts out there? Thanks

Must have missed the replies. From me:

Run AdAware and SpyBot. If you don't have them, get them, there free.
I don't have a download address, but a simple search will find them.
The blank preview pane just started last month. For most, the fix was
enough, but a few had to debug. Afterwards, the first fix held.

From PA Bear:

Download, seek updates for and run CWShredder
(http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html) with nothing else
running in background.
